He's a slow worker, though. Get ready for delays.
Is it always this time of year we see the game of musical chairs between Marvel & DC? Contracts seem to come up, and we see who is left without a seat when the music stops.
David Finch has covered a lot of Marvel. It will be interesting to see who he tackles over there. Batman seems right; he'd be too dark on Superman.

I can understand Marvel wanting to get rid of one of the worst writers, Loeb, but why would they want to get rid of one of their best, Millar?

it's not a question of being good or bad at marvel imo. both men would write an awesome superman (and loeb has proven it already).

i highly doubt marvel wanted to get rid of finch.

There you go. Finch can draw like Jim Lee, but he's even slower.
Anyway, it's Frank Miller's writing that is the problem. But, the series is on permanent hiatus. DC looks to be trying this idea again, with Geoff Johns & Gary Frank instead.

The thing with Loeb is that he can create interesting stuff like Hush. However, it takes another writer to make the adjusment...like Dini did with Hush.

Now that I think of it....

Dini+Finch= WD VERY HAPPY!

No huge loss. Best of luck to him.

Brubaker would have been a bigger loss and a bigger gain for Marvel and DC respectively, especially if he began writing Batman.

Anyone else thinks Finch should not do Superman? I wouldn't mind a darker tone for Supes.

he's an artist, so i don't really see what difference he'd make to the books...

I was wondering that.

What's he gonna do? Use darker red and blue inks?

1) You do realise that just because I'm not the largest fan of DC, it doesn't mean I don't read any DC comics or comics from other companies, right? That's precisely why I have a Superman sig, many DC comics, and a Superman shirt; because I'm coming to Marvel's rescue.

2) It's not a loss though, is it?
