Now everyone knows that the elves so totally rule, and the fact that they showed up at helms deep was great, ( to boring to see humans fight all the time) but was it just me or did it seem that the elves really got there ass kicked and that Urks really beat the hell out of em? just wanna know what everyone thinks about it.
Okie, Exa, I know you posted links, but this is my vewwy vewwy first semi-long post, so please don't kill me!
Well actually, Elves do not so like, totally, like, rule.
In my opinion, I think the Race of Men is almost better than Elves. Éowyn is boring to watch fight? I doooon't think sooo!! Legolas killing the Oliphaunt was a steeeupid CGI trick.
Besides, what would Gondor be without Aragorn? The Elves just would've departed to Valinor, except for, of course, the dead ones. Sauron would have taken over the world, and basically the Hobbits would be the only ones there. Which meeeans, that the Valar's works would've been all in vain. *And we don't want that, do we precious?* *NO, of course we don't!* So Men don't suck! And they fight awesome-ly.
Yeah, duh, the Elves got their arses kicked! Everyone has to be beaten once in a while! And besides, look at all the Orcs/Uruk-hai's tens of thousands to the Army of Helm's Deep's G-d knows how small.
Elves are *tries to pronounce word again* sus--cept--ti-bubbble to die of grief or...
to be slain in battle.
I guess they got the second one.
Done with first long post... I'm so proud of myself...
Although it was rather stupid... I just can never say my thoughts. *shrugs*
I remember something about Aragorn and his group getting off annd Elronds sons are also with him... also the ships are filled with northern kingdom men who won a battle and sent troops...
In the bookses (precious ) Elladan and Elrohir went with Aragorn, and also, they probably chose mortal lives (since they did not go to Valinor) so maybe you both are right
