that's because his power lessens when goes further from his house upon the hill with the little babbling brook that runs parallel to it...and the nice shady elm tree with the swing...but i digress
my favorite is the father to Maedhros
my second is the creator of the 3 jewels
my third is the elf who sarted the kin-slaying...
But I like this one it has both Sauron AND Melkor in it! Yey!
Ok I voted for Sauron
My absolutely fav characters besides the Dark Lord are
the Witchking
Beleg Cúthalion
Túrin Turambar and Níniel
Maeglin
Eowyn
Maglor, Maedhros and Caranthir the Dark
Daeron, Rúmil, Dírhaval, Pengolodh of Gondolin, King Parmaite and all the other "lore-masters" and poets
Ar-Pharazôn the Golden
Nienna
Míriel Serinde
and last but not least Larry, Spikey and Squishy

@feanor, Larry is the moth, spikey and squishy (i think) was a driver of the mamikul and the elf who spoke to arwen after the vision of her child "my lady arwen, we must not delay"
