They wouldn’t need to rely on sight; their smell and hearing are more attuned and could hear the big clod coming a mile away. Their strength is about even and so is their fighting skills so it would come down to what weapons each have for a 1 on 1 but against 5 normal warriors Vs 1 normal predator warrior he is going to get his butt handed to him, and elder would be a different story.
the predator in the first movie moved well enough, so i doubt he'll make that much sound... predators can be pretty stealthy when they want to... klingon smell is good, but not that finely attuned imo...
some klingons are great fighters, some are decidedly average... its not tha majority who are excellent fighters, they usually rely on their strength and durability to see them through...
if we're talking avp predators, then yes, the klingons would take it, but if its one from the first movie, i can't see 5 bog standard klingons taking it... maybe if it was a crack team, otherwise i don't think so...
what is the location of the klingons... are they aware of the preditors presence or just drinking in a group? are they going to be close enough to get all blown up in one of the preditors plasma grenedate weapon thinggies. i would give the preditor the advantage as the prey is probibbly unaware at the tactics of the preditors and unable to adapt

In the first movie he moves pretty well but I wouldn’t classify him as stealthy, as for Klingon’s smell it is pretty good and they smell there prey without being able to see it all the time. Even the Predator’s cloak isn’t that good and the visual distortion it leaves behind can be seen, compared to the Jem'Hadar they suck. From the Predator comics that I’ve read the average warriors on both sides are about the same.
That was one of the big problems that I had with the AVP movie is that the ones that hunt the Xenomorphs should be some of the best of the Predator fighters according to their cast system. The ones that go against the humans are normally unblooded and this is their right into adulthood.
the klingons smell is good, but its not acute enough to pick up something they've never even encountered before, and not with much precision... they might know the general direction, but not much more than that... they're actualy more likely to hear it before they see it...
the pred in the first movie was able to evade and watch over a crack team of commandoes, that's stealthy enough imo...

My bad got it mixed up, forgot about the marking in the movie. If the Predator has all of his weapons, armor and cloak against standard equipped warrior Klingons then I would have to give it to the Predator, H2H I would give it to the Klingons or if you add in the tricoder then its stealth will not do him any good.
Which Klingons are we taking about here? Starfleet's greatest warrior Worf? Worf's brother Kurn. Gowron. Kor. Kahless the Unforgettable or to also throw in Koloth? Do they have their Bat'leths?
