Maul got killed by a Padawan, but he also killed a Jedi Master. Kit Fisto killed a large and deadly droid (Read "Cestus Deception"), slaughtered even more droids underwater, fought Ventress and survived, and also lasted a few seconds with Sids whereas the other Jedi got punked super fast.
