Luna Lovegood Casting Call (Finshed) :(

There was a Luna Lovegood casting call in Westminster last week! This was because they still wanted to make sure, they hadn't missed anyone out who would fit the part. I am afraid it's already finished and i think they are now deciding who will be chosen for the part. I was told the casting call for Luna appeared on television (Newsround, BBC Channel, England.) Apparently you didn't act, they only wanted to find someone who looked like her. If they wanted you back you would get your photo taken. If anyone knows anything about this then feel free to post your messages here.

After an extensive casting search for someone to fill the role of Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Warner Bros. has released an image of the young girl, 14-year-old Evanna Lynch, who was recently chosen to play Harry Potter's strange new friend in the next film. You can see the image below.

In other casting news, CBBC Newsround reports that the role of Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher Professor Umbridge will be played by Imelda Staunton, who can now be seen on the big screen in Nanny McPhee. And Helen McCrory (The Count of Monte Cristo) will play Voldemort follower Bellatrix Lestrange. Mrs. Figg, a neighbor of the Dursley's with a mysterious connection to the wizarding world, will be portrayed by actress Kathryn Hunter.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is filming now under the direction of acclaimed British TV helmer David Yates (State of Play, The Way We Live Now). Writer Michael Goldberg (Where the Wild Things Are, Peter Pan) is temporarily replacing perennial Potter scribe Steve Kloves in the script department � it was announced earlier this week that Kloves would return to his screenwriting duties for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Yes that is her!!!! When i saw that photo i scremed "nooooooo tom felton got greedy and took Lunas part aswell!!" sad

But i have seen another picture and she does have that Luna look! (she doesn't have that crazy hair colour). Well done to her. Shes apparently a huge Harry Potter fan so i am pretty sure she knows her character well!! big grin
