What's going on with Marvel, stopping series just to start them again a month later with a different title? She-Hulk, now Moon Knight.
They don't know what they're doing with Marc Spector, and they can't keep a writer around on him, it seems. Time to bring back Doug Moench - MK is his character, and he doesn't like it when others write him anyway.

i just finished reading through issue thirty of the current series, and the stories have all been pretty solid. i've never really been a big fan of the "lone hero prowling the city streets" genre, and i only had moderate knowledge of moon knight prior, but i've enjoyed the series quite a bit. my only gripe is that benson doesn't seem to like writing the profile as much as huston did, and i loved reading that guy's parts.
anyway, the art's been kinda mediocre throughout a large part of the series, so hopefully the new book'll have some smashing good looks.
I'd get MK out of New York - it's too crowded there with heroes, and he needs to get away from the perception of being Marvel's Batman.
Put him down in the South, covering territory from New Orleans to Miami, dealing with Gothic-type crime stories & such.

I blieve it's September, with the Moon Knight Saga book in August.
As for the guns, I figure since he use to be a mercenary, guns make him feel secure, seeing how he's rejecting his god, who won't back him anymore(If he ever). Then again, that's Marc Spector, this is Jake Lockely. From a psychological viewpoint, maybe Lockely just likes guns. But Hell, for all I know they could be pistol inspired Flame Throwers.
Anyway, for those who haven't seen it, Newsarama's interview:
unless issue 31 came out and i missed it, it damn sure looks like he's got his sights set on heading back to the good ol' U.S. to take down the new hierarchy in the defense community.
