Civil war erupts in the DCU instead of Marvel with Batman and Superman leading the opposing sides.
Whose side with whom?
What i want to know is who in DC would side PRO and ANTI registration and what the terms and end result of the War would be?
So basically!
Who is pro-registration?
Who is anti-registration?
Who retires?
Who lives?
Who dies?
WHO WINS???
Well that was what i meant, but i was more curies as to who else in the DCU would side with him and with Superman's Anti-registration rebellion?
Of course this is my scenario seeing as how Superman almost always believes the government is right (when not controlled by someone he knows to be corrupted).

Just to say he is on the Anti side, cause for this thread i wanted him to lead the Anti team, This is why.
Superman is the one hero pretty much every villian wants to hurt including Luthor, Darkside, Mongul, Bizzaro............. the list goes on and if he isn't there to protect them no one else is strong enough to take on all those guys, we'll say that is why he is anti.
So lets just for this thread he is the Anti leader, who joins his team???

Batman is nosie enough he would be a perfect Pro leader, so he is Pro registration at least for this thread. But those are the only two i have preselected for the sides of the war.
Batman is Pro-registration who joins his team?
Superman is Anti-registration who joins his team?
Why do the other heros chose that side?

Batman IS nosey, and believes heroes should be held responsible for their actions, but he ain't about to give up his identity and life to the goverment, no way in hell. He either goes anti-reg, or he goes solo and attempts to find out the government's intentions.
I'd say Superman is more neutral than anything. He already knows what it's like when the wrong people know who you are. He'd also believe heroes should be accountable, but he's not about to fight his fellow heroes, and there really aren't very many people that could make him.
I just wanted to know who side people thought the rest of the DCU would join, IF my scenario played out I'm not saying that it would just who else would side with either of the world's finest.

My sides. I don't think Batman would choose the government. He'd want to run his own thing and wouldn't trust the government to not meddle. I see him as less trusting and more wary of the government trying to assemble their own superhuman army. Superman on the other hand will do what he thinks is the right thing, and since I think this tends to make him more naive than other heroes it'll make him more trusting of the government (unless of course its Luthor lead in which case he's doing the opposite). Batman'ss team has more of the 'rebels' and more left wing heroes of the DCU as opposed to Superman's team which has more of the 'boyscouts'.
Anti-Registration
Batman
Green Arrow
Hawkman
Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
Green Lanter (Guy Gardener)
Aquaman
Black Canary
Arsenal
Katanna
Metamorpho
Starfire
Plastic Man
Question
Pro-Registration
Superman
Wonderwoman
Martian Manhunter
Black Lightning
Green Lantern (John Stewart)
Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner)
Zatanna
Captain Atom
Nightwing
Flash
Captain Marvel
The Atom
I can't see any reason Batman would be pro-registration. He's not working for anyone else.
Superman is definitely pro-registration, because he respects authority too much.

Normally i would agree with superman siding with the progovernment style and your probably right but for this fight i wanted him to put individuals rights be fore the government. As for Bruce i really think he has a thing for keep superpowered people incheck and while i could see him on either side i think he would be more suited to fit his personality as leader of a group to unmask and (contain) any superpowered beings on earth for the protection of the citizens

Yup, I think its plausible. It may seem like a stretch, but really think about it. I use it as a way to distance him from Bruce (plus I think if this story was done it'd be pretty interesting to see an interaction between the two). Nightwing has already expressed dissproval with the way Bruce does a lot of things and on a situation of this scope I see him coming out on his own into a more Superman-like character. He maybe could also be like the 'Spider-Man' of the DCU CW (switching sides and going back with his father).
Actually I noticed after I posted that our teams were the same yet opposite. It seems like your team is more composed of guys who wouldn't have much qualms hunting fellow heroes (I agree your pro team seems more ruthless), but the way I looked at it is which heroes would I opposing the government. Green Arrow is definitely on the 'rebel' side though
