Yes...artifical diamonds are made with pressures above 1500 gigapascals which is 217,556,606 psi.

really? i was told no metal would be able to achieve that and it would rupture immediately .

but i mean can air or any gas be compressed into a container at 1,000,000psi

So the secret to tachyons is farting? That may be a serious medical problem because that means that you start at a mass, let's say it's 150 lbs, then you eat beans and fart, resulting in your mass becoming like, either -150 lbs. or 150i lbs.

This is the answer to one of the weight problems of space travel, why waste space carrying gas to be shot out of the small jets of the space suit when you can feed the astronauts beans, and build in some fart collecting and re-distribution device so the fart power can be used to push them about in weightlessness.
