People don't seem to understand DP Tyrant took out a "normal" state Galactus. If Morg didn't jump in with the Nullifier, it was lights out for Galactus.
Tyrant is probably Marvel's most powerful non-abstract being.

SW Galactus. VERY easily. SW Galactus tanked a blast from Pre-Retcon Beyonder.
Not at all.
1. DP Tyrant used his technopathy to control G's machines, which started syphoning off energy from G.
2. DP Tyrant's blasts did NOTHING to Galactus.
3. DP Tyrant walked up to G's upper lip and slashed him wolverine style. This, coupled with Morg talking like a street thug, confirms the writer has no idea how to treat these characters....anyway...
4. Galactus defeated FP Tyrant in hand-to-hand mortal combat. No machines, no PIS, no CIS; just straight cosmic being against cosmic being. Who is going to argue that DP Tyrant>>>FP Tyrant?

That was before he used a lot of his energy to summon Ta ll.And it had been longer since he eat.
Like I said this is the much weaker one that the heroes fought and seemed to have a small chance again.He had lost a lot of energy from when he tanked the blast from beyonder and when he fought the heores.

He left Tyrant alone because he did not want to fight at that time and neither did Tyrant. Tyrant even seeked to hide from Galactus longer. The only reason Galactus choose not to fight was because he did not want the collateral damage so he chose to leave Morg with Tyrant. He even tells Surfer that he'll handle things at the time of "his choosing". Tyrant knows Galactus would kick his ass. Even Galactus says that it's unthinkable that Tyrant would win. Galactus didn't want to fight at the time due to the casualties despite him being the superior being; Tyrant didn't want to fight because he need more time to prepare before such a confrontation but will fight here if he must. The guy had eons to prepare and still wanted to avoid fighting Galactus unless he has to. Thank you for proving my point. Push came to shove, Galactus backed down not DP Tyrant. I mean we all saw how that fight ended up eventually. If they had fought then, there would be no Morg with the UN to save Galactus' ass.
Also I believe that Tyrant had Galactus' number before he was nullified. Galactus said it himself that he was nearly too tired to continue the battle, which was why he could do nothing to help Morg.

Galactus backed down because he wasn't interested in having possible the entire universe destroyed as a result of their battle (You'll rule over rubble, Tyrant wants to rule the universe). Also as WhiteWitchKing said, which as I see it you entirely ignored, was that Tyrant himself wanted more time to prepare, that doesn't really strike one as being a sign of great confidence. And lets recall that if the battle had taken place here, Tyrant would have had no machine to utilize against Galactus so...
Yes "Noob Tyrant" a Tryant who was just coming into his own wielding the power cosmic.
Tyrant's blasts did enough to make Galactus retaliate with his machines. Tyrant's "technopathy" > Galactus' control over his own machines.
And this is DP Tyrant.
Punking where I come from is when someone COMES LOOKING FOR A FIGHT, you cause them to back down. Making them look like a fool. That's exactly what happened to Galactus. Tyrant was taken by surprise and yet it was Galactus who blinked first.

Read the scans again. Even the Surfer is surprised that Galactus allowed Tyrant to walk all over him.
And Tyrant didn't need any machines vs Galactus. He was ABSORBING Galactus' own blasts. That's what caused Galactus to lash out at Tryant using his machines in the first place!
First of all you've just exposed yourself as someone who doesn't know anything about the characters, therefor you can't be taken seriously in this debate.
1. Tyrant DOES NOT have the Power Cosmic. He never did. He was never explicitly stated to have it and in fact Galactus created him to be a counterpart to himself, not a compliment (like a herald)
2. "Noob Tyrant" is such a shit term. Tyrant and Galactus co-existed for an indeterminate amount of time, certainly more than a "few years" as you would have people assume. In fact, "Noob Tyrant" is Tyrant's natural form, NOT DP Tyrant which is his diminutive stature that Galactus has permanently reduced him to.
3. Tyrant's blasts had NO effect. Read it again.
4. Technopathy is what allowed him to win. Where is Galactus deploying his machines in a CIS manner in this fight dude? WHERE? Otherwise keep quiet.
5. Yeah, your definition of punking is pretty pussy. Galactus came to retrieve his herald. You need to re-read the comic if you think Galactus was running up to Tyrant with a broken glass bottle in hand and then all of a sudden decides not to swing
