Apparently Trump is going to pick Mike Pence, governor of Indiana, as his vice presidential running mate. What do you think of this ticket? How will it influence the race?
You know I thought a Trumo/Newt ticket would of been more entertaining.

I feel like there is just going to be a hooker with a black eye by the end of the night.

It's been said that the Rep runner usually picks a VP that is more conservative/Right-leaning than himself. So it fits with expectations, cos Pence is one gay hating intolerant sob.
Pence is a perfect choice then. Make america phucking awesome and masculine again
phuck yeah
Replace the stars on the flag with erect, veiny cawks. God bless

She's a goddamn embarrassment as a senator and not very popular. Plus, you can't have two hilarys on one side of the coin. You're supposed to have some kind of diversity to the president/vp combo, whether it's racial, personality, etc. They're the same person, one is just more obnoxious than the other.

I think it is a joke that according to campaign sources, two of the factors in his choice of running mate are that the last name of the other person is not longer than his, and that the last name of the other person is only one syllable, because "one-syllable names convey strength."
Seriously, Republican party, this is your nominee.
And how embarrassing is it for Trump that his running mate actually endorsed Cruz and not him?
Strategically, Pence brings nothing to the table.
He is the governor of a state that is going to go for the Republican in the election anyway, and he is not to the center of Trump, so he is not going to capture any voters who would not have voted for Trump in the first place.
He is also most known for championing and then capitulating on a Religious Freedom Restoration Act bill in his state, to the consternation of both LGBTs and their allies, and social conservatives. The private sector response to this bill, and the one like it in North Carolina, has been swift, transforming what was supposed to be a winning issue for social conservatives, to an albatross around the necks of Republican governors who would support these bills. This being the thing he is most known for is not going to help him with independents whom the party needs to win the election, or with conservatives who are angry that he caved.
Not to mention, that Indiana law prevents Pence from running for governor and vice president at the same time, putting the Republican governorship in play when it was not before. Come November, Pence will be out of both jobs, and a Democrat may have both of them.

I'm trying to tell you guys. Trump is a Hillary plant and now he's purposely sabotaging his campaign by choosing the most offensive running mate possible.
