He used to be near Pre Retcon Beyonder's level, who was basically the most powerful reality warper in comic book history. Current version's of both Owen and Beyonder's aren't anywhere near what they were in classic Secret Wars.

He's a multiversal reality warper at the least.

He's currently one of the strongest characters in comics.

That's with a weaker field, though. It's like comparing Ali to Rocky Marciano.

Back than, cosmics/abstracts were a lot more powerful, too. Just look at LT.. Went from king protector of the omniverse, to laying face up on the moon..

Or the Infinity Gauntlet. Went from "make the LT sweat" to busting from repelling a planet incursion.

If every character was at the same level they were when before the retcon he'd still be one of the strongest.

1. Not really:

2. Current Owen is powerful enough to kill Lifebringer Galactus with a thought, create a new Marvel Omniverse, and shove the previous Marvel Omniverse into a box. He's as powerful as ever.

In the DC Universe maybe.

The Marvel Characters doesn't have a hierarchy accorded to the number of dimensions.

Mxy pulled a Universe out of his hat while Molecule Man pulled a Omniverse out of his.
