style goes to Halloween, Technique goes to nightmare, best subject content also goes to Nightmare. I dont think Friday should even be compared to halloween or Nightmare.

Out of the three I enjoy Nightmare on Elm Street the most, it was one of the first horror films(along with Black Christmas) that got me interested in horror films and then finally onto film as a whole and I will always love it for that. Halloween is just a classic also.
Ok, ok, ok...........I didn't necessarily mean "cliche", I should have picked a better word. And I also in no way meant ANOES or FT13 are shitty movies. I love these movies and I own the DVD's. What I meant was I like the premise of Halloween/Michael Myers much more, you know the whole "masked-psycho-stalker" angle of the film. When I used the word "cliche" I was referring to the LATTER day NOES/FT13 movies that suck (in my opinion), because of all the stupid one-liners and puns from Freddy, granted those are what make Freddy as he is. Also I got tired of FT13 after about part 3 because of the repetition. Pamela Voorhies and Freddy are not, in any way, as characters, cliche to me.
Friday the 13th more realistic than the other 9 installments, or more realistic than "Halloween" and "ANOES"? "Halloween" is about as real as a Horror film can get, and that's why it's such a classic.
in Halloween..........they mention nothing of an evil force. It's just some nutjob who escaped a mental institution and went on a killing spree........
