The origin of the symbiote in Spider-Man 3

The origin will obviously be changed. Sam Raimi said at comic-con "The origin of the symbiote has to be believable."

I'm 110% sure it WONT come from the moon. I'm sure it will be created in some kind of lab experiment, similiar to that in 'Ultimate Spider-Man.'

What do you think?

no.. john will go to space, maybe not the moon, but something.. i mean "more believable"? i mean come on, a kid gets bit by a spider and becomes spiderman lol anyway it will come from space imo

well yea, but he might go again? anyway... the Q&A i remember now said it comes from a meteor and since it hasnt been proven wrong yet.. im gonna go with meteor

Well the meteor could be an okay plot device. I wonder if it will have anything to do with the mission to outer space.
