Thor can kill Doomsday as he hasn't died by having his head caved in by an uru hammer or been turned inside out by magic runes or been blasted into bits by lightning, etc. Thor wins.

Nah probably not lightning, but Thor's lightning isn't just lightning to my understanding. Yeah Thor could probably kill Doomsday like 5 times before he couldn't do it anymore, a very impressive feat.

Thor can control limitless amounts of lightning. One bolt isn't going to do much, but remember Thor can envelop Doomsday in webs of lightning that never lets up. Eventually Doomsday will collapse.

Thor's energy source is more powerful than Doomsday's...I will admit DD is hella strong though. One of the problems with this fight is DD is immune to some of the arguments I would use for Thor beating anyone from Hulk to Silver Surfer...DD doesnt seem to have an ambient power source Thor could absorb with Mjolnir. Thor could absorb gamma radiation from Hulk or cosmic power off Surfer...but he has nothing to suck from DD...he would just have fight DD at 100% the whole time...I think he could do it...but he would end up takinga serious beating in the process

How is Thor's lightning different from regular lightning. I thought the only difference was that it was mystically conjured but it's still regular lightning.

If the omega effect had well... NO EFFECT almost on DD, i doubt any kind of lightning will hurt him:

The Omega Effect: Darkseid's most terrifying power is the "Omega Effect" potent beams of energy projected from his eyes that can lock on and trace their chosen targets. When the beams do inevitably connect, they produce one of any number of effects, ranging from disintegration to teleporting the target across time and space and can even reach out into other dimensions.

Doomsday will win this in my opinion. Thor cant beat superman he definately cannot take Doomsday out. Doomsday did indeed take the Omega Effect without much trouble and Thor cannot match that power. I know this is gonna be hard to swallow. Doomsday.

The lightning isn't that different, it's just unlimited. Repeated lightning attacks is going to be different than an omega beam blast. It's not as focused, but more intense because Thor can consistently blast him with it. As for Thor not beating Superman, the writers already retracted that crossover. Thor can most certainly match Darkseid's power, obviously with the Odinpower but even without he still has his godforce blast which is superior to Darkseid's blast. He also has control over the runes now, which is immensely powerful. Thor is going to win this.

First thing first, does Darkseid match King Thor (odinforced Thor)?
The classic Thor fought a handicap match with Mangog and Thanos. Thanos was said to be more powerful than Darkseid!

Lightning is in no way superior to Darkseid's Omega beam. And Darkseid can use it in a continious fashion as well. So lightning should have basically no effect on Doomsday. And Doomsday doesn't relent to continuous attack, he's too insane or poorly written.

Thor's lightning isn't just lightning. it's mjolnir's enchantment. And King Thor used the odinforce to contain nuclear explosion. and remember how superman defeated doomsday (at the end of time). Mjolnir can create vortex to tranport to other dimention. With Thor's extended powers he can transport doomsday to the end of time.

!!!!!!!!

Well i'm the one who said that I don't think Thor's lightning is just lightning! Where were you a few days ago man!

Also, these fights are never who can teleport who where man. If that's the case then we'd have to accept all those "superman could throw him into the sun" arguements.

Thor's lightning is 'regular' lightning but it's controlled lightning. It has the same properties as lightning but Thor is master over it, thus he can send bolt after bolt after bolt against DD. Whether it has an effect on Doomsday really doesn't matter, as Thor's godforce surely will. He doesn't even need to be King Thor to defeat Doomsday. King Thor could defeat Darkseid though quite easily.

So thor takes this one but if the fight continues eventually DD would be immune to anything he's got.
