Gender: Female Location: Drinking rum with Jack in a dingy
Jack's quotes..
Let's see how many of Jack's quotes we can get on here...copying and pasting from the script is allowed....and post a screen cap if you have one...
I'll start...the very first words I ever heard uttered by jack/johnny still get me excited...once I realized I was in love with Johnny and he became this larger than life man to me...I would replay this scene over and over and just listen to the sexy sound of his voice...even though I knew of Johnny ...i never watched not one of his movies until I saw Pirates...and then I was hooked....
"Let's make it three schillings and forget the name"....LOVE this...
and the harbor master replies "Welcome to Port Royal, Mr. Smith"..
I love Jack's little bow with his praying hands..which is a natural reaction of Johnny..his gracious, thank you reaction....so sexy..

It's not a quote, but that zoom out of Jack looking so dignified sailing in to Port Royal on the top of the mast of that boat.... and then we see that he has to be doing that; it's sinking.

i love the conversation he has with Murtogg and Mullroy...
one of my favorite scenes from COTBP...when they are arguing about the Black Pearl being real or not and Jack slips past them onto the Interceptor.....
MULLROY (CONT'D)
Get away from there! You don't
have permission to be aboard
there!
Jack spreads his hands in apology.
JACK
I'm sorry. It's just such a pretty
boat. Ship.
The sailors study him suspiciously.
MURTOGG
What's your name?
JACK
Smith.
MULLR0Y
What's your business in Port
Royal, 'Mr. Smith' ?
MURTOGG
And no lies!
JACK
None? Very well. You've rumbled
me. I confess: I intend to
commandeer one of these ships,
pick up a crew in Tortuga, and go
out on the account, do a little
honest pirating.
MURTOGG
I said, no lies.
MULLR0Y
I think he's telling the truth.
MURTOGG
He's not telling the truth.
MULLROY
He may be.
MURTOGG
If he were telling the truth he
wouldn't have told us.
JACK
Unless, of course, he knew you wouldn't
believe the truth if he told it to you.
Murtogg and Mullroy consider that point --

WOO HOO GOT MORE!!!
JACK SPARROW
Is that how you're all feeling, then?
Perhaps dear old Jack is not serving
your best interests as captain?
No! If we don't have the key, we can't
open whatever it is we don't have that
it unlocks. So what purpose would be
served in finding whatever need be unlocked,
which we don't have, without first having
found the key what unlocks it?
Yes to the first, yes to the second,
but only insofar as we keep to the shallows
as much as possible.
I have every faith in your reconciliatory
navigational skills, Master Gibbs, now
where is that monkey? I want to shoot
something.
AND FINALLY . . .
This is the day you shall always remember as the day that you almost caught captain jack sparrow (that one is by far my most favorite!)

I love the part when Murtogg and Mullroy are arguing, Jack sticks his tongue down into his gums and rolls his eyes and just sort of... sidles... out of view. I laughed really loudly the first time I saw that, I think then it just hit me what sort of character Jack was the first time I watched CotBP. That moment is so genius!

From COTBP in the Blacksmith's Shop where Jack and Will meet for the first time.....
Jack Sparrow:
Do you think it wise, boy? Crossing blades with a Pirate?
You know what you're doing, I'll
give you that ... Excellent form
... But how's your footwork? If I step here -
You need to find yourself a girl, mate.
(Will sets his jaw)
Or perhaps the reason you practice
three hours a day is you've found
said strumpet and are incapable of wooing her?
You're not a eunich, are you? (and he glances down at Will's front - LOL)
at the end of the sword fight...
WILL (CONT'D)
You cheated.
JACK
(smiles; what do you expect?)
Pirate.
