I think it's safe to say that most characters have at least one monologue to their credit and that most have quite a few. So out of all those characters who do you guys think gives the BEST monologues on average(and scan of examples are encouraged).
Anyway for me(and I'm sure plenty of others) it's gotta be Cap...
I like Batman. Even though he's a dark loner, he never takes credit for anything. Even when someone tells him (you did it) , he always replies with ( no we did it).
i defy anyone to find a better monologist than magneto in his prime.....or better yet any X related character that was under claremont's umbrella in the early 90s.....you woulda thought that shakespeare came to town
His words always seem to have a certain resonance that rings true, regardless of the situation; a talent which allowed him to earn the admiration and loyalty of gods.
Steve's at the top of the list. When he speaks, people listen.
His monologue here, though - thoughtful but impractical in a real sense. You can't govern a country of 300 million people all moving in different directions. It has to be majority rule.
