This thread is for feats that you would like other's opinion's on.and for others interpretation on.

during the infinity gauntlet thanos cuts of all sensory input from the mind,space,reality,soul,time gem's.leaving only the powers gem input.
from these scans, does thanos use the power gem to amplify his abilities,ie matter manipulation/strenght.. etc or is it power from another gem(reality/time)?
The only one I think that's really from Thanos is the last one, because he implicitly said that he used only the PG the fight. And he doesn't have "dodged" Surfer, he got luck that Surfer missed him.
For the rest, I don't know.
He have been able to turn Pip and Super Skrull in rock by his own power, if my memory is good, but...
when thanos stated he cut himself off from "all sensory input" he meant that he was not omniscient anymore, he had to consciously tap into the gems for the various effects he wanted.
the other one is that since the power gem alone has the power to back the natural powers of the wielder with it's infinite energy reserve, thanos' powers and abilities that he doesn't exhibit on panel were thus amplified to the point that they were lethal without much effort put into their use. he is already quite adapt in molecular rearranging atoms and the deaths of nova and thor were apparently because of them.
the first one seems more correct at first, but then when he "willed himself to full power" to combat the cosmics, it makes me think he was only using one gem since his offensive capability was greatly enhanced by using all the gems at once. there shouldn't have been that great of a difference in performance if he was still using the gems the whole time he was fighting the heroes. sure he wasn't omniscient at that time, but he was far more vulnerable.
Thanos shattering Cap's shiels with a slap is SO wrong. I know.. matter manipulation, but it lookslike he just BROKE it.
Speaking of feats. Remember the time when new Venom ripped his fist through Spider-man's chest RIGHT through his heart and Spider-man got up and beat the crap out of him.

For some of those he must have used the gems. Others was probably his powers boosted by power gem.
Like he would not be able to send drax and firelord through time without the time gem. But he could easily increase his size with his own matter manip and power gem.

what exactly does this mean? Yggdrasil is said to be connected to the nine worlds....so did Thor move just the tree and the engine or did he move that and the realms connected to it? Sounds really far fetched but I'm not entirely convinced that that it wouldn't be the latter.
