This isn't hard people. Gorr killed EVERY God he came across throughout the universe. This included entire pantheons (which would have their own Skyfathers).

Atum couldn't even handle Thor, Gorr went up against three of them.

I thought Atum was pretty uber. Was he taken out by Thor in direct combat?

He tried to eat Thor but Thor smashed his teeth and got out. He couldn't handle the Skrull Goddess and overloaded.

Gorr beat every divinity he came across. Gorr's record > Atum's.

A dying King Thor was holding Gorr. If anything, the shock kept him in place.

Neither could Galactus at one point. That doesn't hurt the character.

Unoriginal in what aspect? That he's a god killer? That's like damning capes because they've done before. Disliking a character is fine, that's opinion, but bashing one for no reason, is just that. Just like disliking an arc is opinion, but attributing negatives that aren't there, is also just that.
