Probs with Vista's because a shoto is best used with Jar'Kai especially against a single opponent. UNLESS Maul deactivates the bottom blade of his saberstaff in which case that one wins. UNLESS Maul just drops the Darksaber then its an eternal stand off.

I'm going to give a marginal edge to saberstaff Maul, because his saberstaff is a large component of his defensive capabilities. His saberstaff also increases his viability for power attacks with it's longer hilt for leverage and it's two handed wielding. Maul is also more used to and familiar with his saberstaff.
