Complete madness: As Paris mourns, Obama just did the UNTHINKABLE

It is clearly evident that President Barack Obama and his administration care little about reality but will push ahead with their ideological agenda.
Here we are just days after a horrific Islamic terror attack in Paris and what is the Obama administration response? They release five Yemeni detainees from Guantanamo Bay to the United Arab Emirates. I suppose it’s fair enough — seems the bad guys lost eight in Paris so it’s proper that we refill their ranks. After all, we did send back the Taliban’s senior military staff for a deserter — oops, I mean a fella who served with honor and distinction.
As reported by US News and World Report, “Five men held by the U.S. at its base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have been released and sent to the United Arab Emirates.
The Pentagon says the five Yemeni men were accepted for resettlement in the Persian Gulf nation after U.S. authorities determined they no longer posed a threat. The Defense Department said in a statement Sunday that their release brings the Guantanamo prisoner population to 107.
Each of the five released over the weekend had been held for more than 13 years. They were not charged but were detained as enemy combatants. Their release was delayed because the U.S. won’t send Guantanamo prisoners to Yemen because of instability there and must find other countries to accept them. These are the first prisoners accepted by the UAE for resettlement.”
Who cares how long they’ve been held? As long as Islamic terrorism continues, we must continue to keep them off the battlefield. And the best place to make sure these five don’t pose a threat is to keep them at Club GITMO. I find it so perplexing that we fail to understand unlawful enemy combatants have no rights. They do not need to be given a “fair trial” and their freedom is certainly our last concern. But what is most disconcerting is that who in the Obama administration thought that this was a good idea, considering what just happened in Paris?

The optics of this folly speaks volumes and here is the propaganda that the enemy will promulgate. “Dear brothers, after our successful attack in Paris against the infidels, the weakness of America was shown as they released five of our brothers back to join our fight. This is why we must continue to attack the West because they have no stomach to fight, but prefer their lifestyle of parties and sports. We shall increase our attacks because their response is not to fight back but to cower.”
On this weekend when those who were so viciously and savagely attacked are still fighting for their lives, the Obama administration released Islamic terrorists. This is what the enemy sees of us and this is why they are further emboldened. This is why they will relentlessly attack until we finally take definitive action — when even at this point there are naysayers and dissenters.
Who in the Obama administration made the determination that this was a swell thing to do at this point of time? Who was it that said, “ahh, we can explain this away and no one will care or even pay attention?” Perhaps someone said, “Mr. President, now’s a great time to release these five since everyone is focusing on the Paris terrorist attack.” If that’s the case, it is disgusting that Obama and his minions would use a terrorist attack as cover for this action.
I am searching for any explanation of this.
Ladies and gents, we must no longer mince words. There would be no ISIS if Barack Obama had listened to the generals, to military professionals, and retained a residual force in Iraq. From that one unilateral decision based on a campaign promise, this is where we are today.
And to go forth and release GITMO unlawful enemy combatants this weekend shows a cold callousness that cares little about anyone, save Obama’s “legacy” — he wants GITMO shut down. This action shows a man and an administration that will never accept any responsibility and accountability nor admit being wrong. And folks, there will be no impeachment, and no matter how much worse it gets, Obama will not resign — the enemy knows this. Obama will not take action, besides more confusing rhetoric — consider his statement just before the Paris Islamic terror attack that ISIS was contained and not gaining strength.
Well, in typical Obama administration PR damage control, enter one Ben Rhodes, the unqualified Deputy National Security Advisor, and let the spin begin.

ABC This Week host George Stephanopoulos presented White House deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes with a list of politicians criticizing Obama for his Nov. 12 remarks. Republican presidential candidate and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, for example, said Obama sees the world “as a fantasy.”
Rhodes said Obama was talking about a particular aspect of containment that in no way dismissed the possibility of terrorist attacks in the West. “The president was responding very specifically to the geographic expansion of ISIL in Iraq and Syria,” Rhodes said, using another acronym for the group.
“A year ago, we saw them on the march in Iraq and Syria, taking more and more population centers. The fact is that we have been able to stop that geographic advance and take back significant amounts of territory in both northern Iraq and northern Syria. At the same time, that does not diminish the fact that there is a threat posed by ISIL, not just in those countries but in their aspirations to project power overseas.”
Now that’s just like someone responding to Nazi forces operating in North Africa saying we have the Germans contained because their headquarters in is Germany and hasn’t expanded. Pure spin by Rhodes.
France made an immediate response but is this a sustained response? Jordan leveraged its fighters against ISIS after the horrible burning alive of its fighter pilot. France could invoke Article Five and call upon the NATO alliance.
But the real strategy has to be a complete strategic takedown of the ideology of Islamic jihadism. It has to be strangled and eradicated. This is not about a drone killing one or two here or there. This is a time when the hammer is needed for the nail — instead we are leaving the hammer in the toolbox and offering a hug.
I guess Hillary Clinton was right, we have to empathize with our enemy — and it appears that releasing GITMO unlawful enemy combatants the weekend following a massive well coordinated and logistically supported Islamic terror attack says just how much we care.

I'm sorry but really? Release prisoners that have been held for 13 years without being charged anything and somehow that equates to Obama being soft and trying to replenish terrorists organizations.

Now I'm glad I stuck with my instincts and didn't read it. Allen West doing what Allen West does; taking a story and spinning it into sensationalist nonsense so Rightwing radicals can eat it up.
Also for some reason Obama choosing to do this after the Paris attacks is him sending a message that he doesn't care about doing what is right. Also that he may have chose to do it after the Paris attacks so that people would be preoccupied and not looking into this.
Also that Obama is the sole reason ISIS exists to begin with because he was too soft and pulled out of Iraq too soon.
