big advantage to bones because of his love of weapons... we've seen the tubes that provide venom to bane cut and disabled too many times to think some as string and skilled as bane not be able to do it. given that he's matched cap a couple times in speed and strength and is close in skill....no venom bane loses for sure imo. with venom he could def win if he can disarm bones but i don't think it's a sure thing still.
let me guess, bones is only a B level character with B List skill and D List gear? In a normal fight, rumlow has banes number before he even gets close. It's only in the second fight that bane actually has a chance to win.

What is Crossbones standard gear? B/c anything short of an automatic weapon, Bane had routinely dodged, tanked, or disarmed. He mostly fights against opponents that use projectiles.
he usually carries between 2-4 semiautomatic handguns, one full auto submachine gun, 2-4 grenades, one assault rifle (depends on the writer, but it's usually something like an m-16), and a combat knife or two. He has been known to occasionally use a flamethrower, rpg, throwing knives, or even a sniper rifle.
Up close, bane could feasibly take him. At range/standard starting distance, rumlow should have take the win.
I wouldn't call beating down captain america, evenly fighting bucky, evenly fighting falcon, destroying bullseye, matching wolverine, having the upper hand against deadpool, or being taskmaster's best student abysmal. But I'm sure that you have just enough low showings to bring up and normal showings to ignore for us to stretch this argument to the fourth or maybe even fifth page.
He's not going to win. He's been hit plenty of times and had his venom tube cut in a cap load of fights. Rumlow opens up on him with an m-16 at the start of the fight and keeps his distance long enough for bane to sustain serious injuries and then he finishes him up close. It's still a good fight though.
Considering he had been beaten in every fight of note against Steve, lost to ****ing Black Widow, Misty Knight, Diamondback and likes of that, yes he has an abysmal record.
I like how fighting Falcon or beating Bullseye is supposed to be a feat.
We are talking about Batman level beings here. Not Robin level.
Even without Venom Bane can straight up manhandle Captain America.
Rumlow would get the talon treatment, get ripped limb from limb.
then I favor Brock in the first fight and he loses after a good fight in the second. shouldn't have asked that. He's going to post scans of that crossover and then state that because bane picked him up, he was getting manhandled and it's canon and nobody can prove otherwise. in their most recent fight, he was the one that was winning.
wow. I totally wasn't expecting you to bring up low showings and act like they are standard for the character.
You mean the same falcon that was trained by captain America himself or the very same bullseye that has beaten daredevil before?
