I don't know Quan. I think Imperiex kills him via rift attack.

Not so clear cut. The combination of Darkseid's Omega Beams and a Kismet enhanced Superman is able to destroy Imperiex. Similarly, it takes the power of The Designate enhancing Thors power a million times combined with Odin to take out Surtur. Those are comparable groups. At that time, Kismet and The Designate hold similar positions while Odin is much more powerful the Darkseid of that period who can't beat Superman.

Surtur would have the Twilight Sword and need only to compromise Imperiex's armor to win if he can withstand or deflect his EP.

GTFO. Designate only amped Thor's lightning a millionfold.

And Odin's power was nearly exhausted there.

Kismet is FAR more powerful than Designate. She is Eternity level and that's even acknowledge in the letters pages from that same arc.

GTFO here.

And Odin needed all his power to heal Thor's broken bones in that arc FFS.

Darkseid has casually resurrected Orion.

Odin couldn't even beat Jane Thor while going bloodlusted.

And Darkseid did beat Superman in three punches in MOS 116.

Haha, no. Imperiex oneshots him with an entropy rift.

^ Darkseid from 'that period' also whimsically created a trans-level being, in the form of Stayne(Takion's equal/opposite.)

Yup. And Takion was a beast, controlling Godwave, becoming one with universe and shit like that.

He was more skyfather level than mere trans level IMO.

Takion was really only limited by the amount of energy he was channeling from the Source at any given time. And because everything stems from the Source, he was capable of controlling all types of energy. We saw this when he mucked with the Speed Force, the Quantum Field, and the Lantern energy.... As a n00b.

...And Darkseid whipped up a being just as powerful. Casually.

Of course the same writer who wrote that Odin wrote Darkseid getting brutalized by Doomsday. And that letters page says nothing about Kismet being Eternity level.

It's funny that when debating Darkseid fans, Superman fans argue that Darkseid wins with three punches because Superman is fatigued. Why is that not being applied now?

Below is much more impressive than the need for tech and an army of probes to manipulate nexus points to destroy a galaxy.

Why are you so impressed by Surtur collecting a molten ingot of star-stuff left over from the detonation of a galactic core? confused

And also wrote Darkseid being far above Superman in power. Doomsday was just that beastly.

Odin wouldn't like a physical confrontation from Doomsday either. Remind me how Odin fared against Mangog again.

The letters say that she is about to play an important part in an upcoming event. She next appeared in JL/Avengers.

Not hard to understand.

Only the core of the galaxy was destroyed. The probes destroyed entire universe with a supermassive black hole.

And the probes actually tanked it.

Forget about destroying a galaxy.

And a single probe was stalemating Mordru who is Odin level by himself and WTFstomped entire population of Daxam powered up.

[/QUOTE] Abc logic at its finest. Doomsday was wrecking probes left and right and he isn't even up to Superman level of power at 95 percent with an apokoliptian mentality. Surtur wins.
