Avengers Forever contained many Avengers from different realities and times, but not ALL Avengers. Busiek included a few people whom he thought would create interesting future stories as Avengers, such as Captain Marvel (Genis-Vell), Songbird, Sasquatch, Northstar and others. Despite the great assemblage of heroes here, not every Avenger ever showed up. Ya dig?
Centennial Alpha Flight #1 [Vol.3]-Here he is showing his super strength and his flying abilities. Centennial was a good idea breaking the Superman mold being an elderly african-american, but they turned him into a typical sterotype that hurt the character.
Alpha Flight w/ X-Men vs. Hydra X-Men/Alpha Flight #2 [Vol.2]-After Hydra aquires the patent from Guardian's old technology such as the Groundhog suit. They use it to battle the X-Men, and win. So being captured Professor X pleads to Alpha FLight to recouver them. Mac feels responsible since it was his technology that captured them so he and Alpha FLight go on a mission to save the X-Men.
Alpha Flight w/ Big Hero 6 vs. X The Unknown Alpha Flight #17 [Vol.2]-Sunfire returns to Department H for justice for being experimented on. He then is called by Big Hero 6 to return home and Alpha Flight tag along.
Feats shown:
-Radius using his shield to lift things saving a person trapped
-Alpha FLight is said to be the 4th most powerful team in all of North America. This is even the weakest version of the team
-Alpha Flight arriving and taking a leadership role in the crisis, where Guardian is leading both factions.
-Manbot adapting himself to ride along a train track
-Vindicator II seeing the plant using her infrared filter
-X transforming into a form that could cover Japan in minutes
-Guardian using his electromagnetic attack to contain Sunfire's blast and zapping X getting him to fall
-Radius survives being inside X after the attacks unharmed.
-Vindicator II reignites Mount Fuji into a volcano and X falls into the lava she produced.
I have a fair few from vol 1. Probably around 60 or so. I've got about 12-15 from vol 2 and all of vol 3 (which i haven't gotten round to readin yet). Most of them i picked up at markets and garage sales for a buck each.
I know what you mean. Most of my fav characters are underrated B-List characters who tend to job alot, and are generally dis-respected by alot of fans. They're great chracters though.
Alpha Flight vs. Zodiac Alpha Flight #1 [Vol.2]-Alright this issue doesn't potray the team in a great light. Well this is their first mission with the new recruits, the teenagers such as Murmur, Radius and Flex along with Manbot. Also Mac is not the real Mac, but a 19 year old clone of the original who doesn't remember his past. Heather also just got her new suit and was just learning how to use it, and Sasquatch is not Walter but a real Sasquatch. So that's why he is attacking everyone since he doesn't belong here. Anyways the team is setup by Department H who was working with the Zodiac. They are sent in since terrorists had chemical weapons and were threatening the world.

-Alpha FLight riding in a sweet jet
-Vindicator II shooting lava blasts from the ground
-Murmur controlling Sasquatch
-Vindicator II using steam jets to hamper Sasquatch
-Murmur sending Virgo to Paris, how she does this I don't know [Read This!]
-Radius using his forcefield to shove the massive telescope
-Flex slicing Taurus
-Madison Jeffries turns the telescope in a instrument to capture Sasquatch
-Manbot was created to watch over Alpha FLight and is recording everything.
-Department H betraying Alpha FLight
Alpha Flight vs. Zodiac Alpha Flight #12 [Vol.2]-Having the trademark cover of ALpha FLight with the characters having targets on them meaning one of them is going to die. This is a copy of the cover from #12 [Vol.1] where Mac "died". This fight occurs after Alpha Flight just finished fighting a war in the Microverse and are exhausted. Yet, they continue to battle against the odds. They even have to fight against Madison Jeffries who has been taken by the Zodiac as Gemini.
Feats shown:
-Alpha FLight returning from the Microverse
-Flex makes HUGE hand weapons [Pg.4]
-Manbot pulling out Department H's blueprints and activating silo
-Sasquatch II taking on Leo, Capricorn and Aries by himself
-Manbot accessing the secret floor 13
-Radius taking on Leo, Capricorn and Aries by himself. Just to note he doesn't feel pain from their attacks, but as he said he does it as a force of habit
-Sasquatch II sacrificing himself to save Radius from the flesh eating bacteria
-Guardian and Puck taking on 6 members of the Zodiac including Jeffries
-Radius holding back the bacteria with his force field
-Gemini [Jeffries] reconfiguring the artillery bank
-Radius and Sunfire kill the bacteria that was created by Department H
-Manbot knowing everything since his database
-Vindicator II sucking the heat from the nuclear reactor just when it was about to reach critical mass
-Vindicator II saving herself in the same situation Mac couldn't do back in Issue #12 [Vol.1]
Well I posted basically his entire apperance as Gemini in Alpha Flight vol.2 [above scans]. He only made a short appearance and then later appeared in Weapon X #1 [Vol.2] when he got captured by the faction.
Alpha Flight vs. Microverse Alpha Flight #11 [Vol.2]-Fleeing into the microverse, Alpha Flight is given in option to go to the microverse to get away from Department H. What they don't know is Department H wanted them to leave. When they first arrive in the Microverse they are considered honoured guests, but it quickly turns sour when Manbot is captured and Alpha Flight realizes this place isn't doing so well. So they regroup and head to the Body Banks with the freedom fighters in the Microverse and together liberate the the city.
Feats shown:
-Vindicator II shoots out lava blasts from her suit, much like what she used to do with electromagnetic suit with electromagnetic blasts.
-Flex delfects a shot and Dexam says: "Excellent defence. You're a hero born"
-Radius's shiled blocking all the attacks
-Vindicator II metling the chains with her lava blasts
-Flex is considered wise
-Alpha Flight with the freedom fighters convince the people to revolt.
-Guardian convincing the scientist not to help the Baron deploy the missle.
-Puck makes a funny comment as he beats up a solider
-Radius shoots out a blast from his head with his forcefield
-Flex once again deflects another attack
-Vindicator II taking out a solider with her steam blast
-Guardian beats the Baron by himself, first blasting his chest open with a electromagnetic blast and then rips his body apart.
-Alpha Flight helps liberate the people
-Manbot teleports the team back to Department H
Huzzah! Just picked up The X-Men 198 Files and the Alpha Flight members that are still powered are Aurora, Diamond Lil, Madison Jeffries, Northstar, and Persuasion/Purple Girl
Little suprized Purple Girl was still powered, they might be brining her back then.
Huzzah! They're cool. Spec'ly the disfunctional siblings. And Madison. I can live without most of the others (even though I just started liking them... ). Wait, so Diamond Lil wasn't killed in Neverland then?
Nope, in the Weapon X mini [Weapon X: Days of Future Now #3] we find out she was to useful so they make her one of their agents. They sent her away and killed the rest of the camp, but she is still alive.
