Leader
Ultimate Cap - I think he is better and slightly cooler than 616
Second in Command
Emma frost- She's hot and has made some great one liners in the past. Plus whats a team without a phsycic chick?
Humour + group rebel
Deadpool- Need I say any more?
Range
Hawkeye- He's got charisma and the fact he has no powers is cool as well....
Resident genius
Beast- He was never really in the limelight with the X-men. On my team he would shine little bit more..............
Powerhouse
She-Hulk- Always a cool character and her status as a lawyer provides government connections
Mr Agile
Spidey- The best at getting around and getting out of the way of dangers
Moral Compass
Invisible Woman- She will provide motherly love and necessary morals which are needed for story-lines. Plus she's hot and that sells
Added spice
Black cat- Not really a team player so thats why she's on this team, it adds flavour and variety..........
Mr Moody
Wolverine- Every team needs a moody character who pretends not to fit in but thats all they want to do. Plus his past history with Deadpool will be great to see in a storyline with a team like this..............
Well I've read a LOT of comics since my original selection, so here are the Adjustments.
Team Leader; Elijah Snow (Planetary). The Quitessential best comic book charactr, ever. Created by Earth as a form of 'Anti body', he is immortal and can lower the temeprature of anything in his vicinity. Absolute Badass, and richer than God.
Power House; Superman as depicted in the Silver Age, i.e. Allstar Superman, Morissons J.L.A. and Mark Waids Kingdome Come. Just love the character, although too much exposure can be boring. IMO they should cancel all his ongoing, keep him in the JLA and let all the best writers write mini's when ever they come up with a new and original concepts.
Green Lantern; Guy Gardner. Every Team needs a 'swiss army knife' and Guy is the G.L. Corps best. An absolute BADASS through and through, hilarious and a great foil for the more serious characters. Although Green Lantern corps has gone a bit stale recently, G.J's book (Green Lentern Rwecharge) was Immense.
Secondary Powerhouse : Ultimate Thor, the Ultimates (Who would that thought revamping a mythological character could be so successful ? He continues to aspire to be everything that 616 Thor is not, e.g. original and interesting. He's also a pretty powerful guy, just ask the Skrull's piloting those mother ships..)
Iron man, marvel comics (This guy is everything and everywhere at the moment. I’m glad that Marvel are showing him the attention he undoubtedly deserves. IMO, Tony Stark is appealing because he takes the Batman principality; that anyone could become a Super hero and takes it that one step further. In other words if one is rich and intelligent enough one could have the power of a god. Fantasy is that much better when its linked with realism, and Iron man is definitely based in realism. I also think he has a lot of potential, and his multi tasking genius abilities are essential on any team.)
Emma Frost You need a real ***** and a telepath, We all know how hot she is, and she's probably dirty, being an X-stripper and all. Although its not very popular around the forum, i really like her secondary mutation. It means she can get rough and dirty when the fights come along. Her characterization as the X-***** makes her a great tool for relationship development. )
Doctor Shaman, The Authority : (This guy is what Strange wishes he could be, IMO he's made magic cool ! His powers linked with transcendent-probability, rather than the inexplicable aluminous mystic gases, that are associated with the more famous comic wizarads . A real powerhouse as well, he once stopped the planet from orbiting.)
Wolverine;Although hated by many on this forum, I cant help loving him. Great for humour and great for black ops missions. The fact that he's basically invinciple kind of helps aswell.
V :
(If you haven't read V fo Vendetta read it NOW!!!! IMO he's an adult version of batman, with a more intriguing origin. His unethical methods also make him most appealing.)
Rorsarch: (If you haven't read Watchmen, read it .... The ending nearly made me cry ! )
