But didn't he have other gems as well?

The gems all work together synergistically, IIRC, so it could have been the combo overpowering Xavier.

And I wouldn't call the Hood a regular human either...

It was stated that it was specifically the Mind Gem being used to push back Xavier and it was repeatedly stated that Robins was the least experienced Gem wielder to date.

It was with the gem and it was Professor Hulk. Happened when he fought PG Drax.
