Hulk took a hammer shot to the chest and barely moved. That alone is significantly more impressive than KC's moment. A charged Mjolnir shot, is way more powerful than Marvel Hercules, especially Heracles from DC. Throw in Marvel Hercules', and it becomes a pretty crazy feat. Especially since 2 issues later, Hercules and Jane Thor were holding up Earth....

That being said, the KC moment is more impressive in that it's a much better written scene imo, and is more badass. Just in terms of sheer power scaling, it's obviously no contest though.

Yeah. My take on this is as follows.

If we were to power scale, and take say Her/Jane's greatest feats and scale off them, Hulk is way more impressive.

If we were to take story telling conventions, then Superman's feat is more impressive.

For example, comic writers always show people being punched and being moved. Batman has moved Darkseid's head, for example. He's even punched Shazam in the head But I know Batman is seen as a special case, so let's use a relevant example, that of WWH and Thing. Does it mean anything? Nope (despite the times I tease Carver about it).

But it's very rare that a writer/artist depicts a complete no sell like that. Which is what makes it impressive. Looking at the wider picture, Superman's showing is so rarely done (quickly; off the top of your head, name three other times it has happened with characters at this level) you can't help but be impressed.

Daredevil and Batman have moved the heads of cl100's. Spidey is notorious for punching so far outside his weight class, boards have universally adapted a ruled named after him.

Logically, this should happen every time Matt punch's, say, Namor:

Exactly. The MANNER in which he just stood there and tanked it is pretty impressive. Herc and Thor, whilst ultimately useless, had a scene which is pretty common in comics.

Not to mention, magical weakness etc.

Isn't this Hulk being amped by the Challenger, though?

Not saying he is, but I heard something along those lines.

Post crisis Superman's best durability feats go well above Hulk's.

Yet KC Supes no sold a blow that bloodied his counterpart's nose.

Going with KC Supes.

Hhhmmm... even if we take this route, you would lose based on the things Jane has done with Mjlonir. Add in Hercules...

Jane I agree but isn't Hercules depowered? As in, not as strong as before getting his powers back.

Exactly. Power scaling makes Hulk way more impressive, otherwise you're down a rabbit hole of ABC logic, where we argue for days on whether bloodying Superman is a feat etc etc.

Adam, you're thinking of Rulk and his radiation I think.

You must be high!

Post Crisis outshine both Jane with her little hammer and Hercules put together when it comes to feats.

What has those 2 accomplished that Post Crisis haven’t, sans the hammers more exotic powers hasn’t accomplished?

@Squall...

I dont think you actually read what what is ever said, you just comment. Your post is irrelevant. Are you implying DC Hercules hits harder or bring more force than Jane with Mjlonir? Do you think Superman can stand in one spot and tank Jane hits?

You mean, like withstanding an attack from a character who one shot KO'd Orion, Lightray, and most of the New Gods of New Genesis?

Yes!

This same Superman has already taken hits that shook the Earth itself while in a weaken state.
