Big deal, Cedric was "just killed" and he's gone. So is Sirius. Think of it, Harry already went through shock and denial and all of that, it'd be stupid if she just brought him back. It really would. No matter how cool Sirius was, I think it'd make the books worse if she just brought him back.
I just think you all are in denial that Sirius is dead. Oh well, just wait 2 or 3 years for the next book, I'm tellin ya, Sirius isn't comming back. If he was just knocked out, it wouldn't take him the few weeks to recover that Harry was finishing school. I don't think he's gonna just jump outa the veil thing fine and dandy during the summer holidays and say "SURPRISE HARRY! I'm not dead after all! Lucky huh?!" I mean come on, think of the reasons you guys are thinking up, it'd be completley out of character if Sirius came back to life.

XxSamanthaxX, i'm not saying he just jump out or anything. i thought maybe there would be some kind of crossing the-death-and-life line or something. he wasn't killed like cedric, we have cedric's dead body and everything. i don't know, maybe u're right, maybe he won't come back. but i just think that the way he was killed leaves an option for his coming back.

NO... NO!!! Though I wish Harry could use a time turner, it would do more bad then good!
If Sirius hadn't fallen T_T, then Bellatrix wouldn't have ran and then Harry wouldn't have followed her, Dumbledore wouldn't have followed him, Voldemort and Bellatrix would have just left in an instant and Dumbledore wouldn't have been there to prolong time and let the Aurors and Minister of Magic get there in time to see Voldemort. So, if a time turner were used to go back and save Sirius the Ministry of Magic would still be denying the return of the Dark Lord and the people of the Wizarding World (most anyway) would still be in the dark about his return and a TON of other horrid stuff would have come out of this mess if Sirius hadn't fallen. So, a time turner, though I hate to say it T_T, would do more harm then good. . .
Oh, and one is NEVER.... NEVER suppose to be seen by oneself when going back through time!

I think XxsamanthaxX is dead on when she said about it being out of sirius's character and also when she said it would make the books worse if sirius came back. Every1 says "but y would Jk bring the veil into it if sirius is really dead?" but maybe she just wants 2 bring some new info about death in2 the next books. Its probably just an opening 4 future storylines. I am sure that sirius will not come back 2 life. it would ruin the whole emotional level of his death and more importantly its not in the nature of the books 4 phoney deaths 2 take place. Anyway the other characters in the books obviously no something we and harry dont. Lupin said something like "Hes gone harry" so he probably has a better idea about how the veil works. So even if sirius was knocked out or something lupin and the others would have taken this in2 account so y else would they tell harry that hed died or have held him back from getting 2 near the veil unless they new that the veil had that effect? they new the spell hadnt killed him and they saw him fall through the veil. The veil is probably some pathway 2 the dead that u can not come out of. And didnt jk say that the dead never come back 2 life in an interview? I think that if sirius is ever brought back in2 the storyline it will be as a memory or something similar, but i doubt he will ever come back 2 life or have not have been dead in the first place. Also i want 2 say gud work 2 lilyginnyblack 4 such a well-thought out theory surrounding the time turner.
