Nobody knows what happened to the fox...
Ask Chris Tolkien if he knows..LOL..I have an idea..LOL...why don't we just plan out our own final fate just for him. So that all of us will find rest and we know that he's just OK..It's the best thing to do since we don't really know what happened. It's like giving names to those characters that we love so much but we don't know their character names.
