Doom already has a device to shut down Magneto's power . Braniac would invent a device to do that.

Fights starts Doom presses device Magnoto loses his power they all take turns slapping him around and laughing at him.

Reed CAN pull that kind of stuff off its just that Doom is a villan.

Reed has a team and a family to manage, while saving the day wink

Doom simply builds Doombots to take out the garbage while he figures out these amazing schemes big grin

Of course in the end what usually ends up in his defeat is his ego

Reed is badass even without being villified stick out tongue

If Reed tryed to kill Doom, he might be able to do it, but then Doom would probobly take over his body or someone else's nearby stick out tongue

They have had several if I recall no expression

The biggest advantage Doom has over Reed is magic wink

I mean they are about even in science but magic is what trumps Reed 99% of the time wink
