Don't forget : it's just a persons opinion. A review can be interesting, but doesn't always tell the truth.
Is that the roundabout way of saying "yes"?

I was just reading IGN's review of FFX2. The score they gave it, when compared to FFX contradicts what most people seem to be saying. It even contradicts what they say. I've been wondering for a while. Is IGN PS2 biased or just FF biased?
Be more specific.
Besides, IGN isn't the most reliable reviews site. I like gamespot.com much more.

No, it's just him saying that the particular people reviewing that game liked it better.
I personally don't pay too much attention to reviews.
The common stance among fans and players of the FF series though is that FFX-2 fell far short of FFX.

Alot of people seem to be saying that FFVI is the best one but I want to clarify. Do they mean the FFVI that was released in America as FFIII or do they mean the real FFVI?

Those are the same game.
FFVI is what it was known as in Japan, and FFIII is what it was called when released overseas.

...FFVI period.
American FFIII was in fact FFVI. They just called it three because America kinda didn't get III, IV, and V back then. The logo you're looking for should have a person riding on a bipedal mech-like machine.
Edit: Darn, beat me to it, Lana!

Oh yeah. I guess I was kinda confusing myself. So that means there hasn't been an actually FFVI release (by title) here in America right?

But VI WAS numbered correctly in the American port for the PlayStation.
Oh, and I apologize for my mistake earlier, IV was released in America, only it was numbered as FFII. Silliness abounds.

So... Is it illegal to play roms of games like FF3, 4, 5 that were never realeased in US and thus we couldn't purchase them?

The only way I've seen people get busted for having ROMs is when some jackass has created a fake ROM that contains a virus.
And yeah, it's technically illegal to use ROMs, but like Kayne said, there's really no way for them to stop it.

Well, FFX2 is plauged with alot of the problems FFX has. Still I have to admit I like the way the whole garment grid sphere/dress sphere/ability learning system works a lot better than FFX's sphere grid system.
