Not really. It can be...but only if the guy is bad at calculating outcome.

If you are only talking about marriage it is a bit different as it is a more binding contract, whoch can be (but doesn't have to be) unfavorable to the guy.

Theres a little more than money in this whole matter, but as for its expensiveness....agreed. Although it is all relevant to income, where you live, how you live, etc... some people dont buy a lot or spend too much, and for some time it can cost less like when renting an apartment when you both have jobs.

Society is based off a paycheck. It always has been, someday its gunna cost the world more than it can pay. Wish it was all simpler.

Still, some things are worth more than money.

This list is broken down into 3 subjects:

What you'll give her--What it costs in a year--What it costs over 50years

Flowers
$300 - $15,000

Greeting Cards
$21 - $1,050

Dinners out
$2,526 - $126,300

Expensive dinners to apologize
$700 - $35,000

Theater, concert, movies
$752 - $37,600

Vacations
$2,913 - $145,650

Jewelry
$1,336 - $66,800

Lingerie
$122 - $6,100

Trips to the spa
$275 - $13,750

Haircuts, grooming products for you
$1,000 - $50,000

Vasectomy after kids are born
$1,000 - $1,000

Caring for the dog she loves so much
$1,226 - $63,300

Valentine's Day
$86 - $4,300

Mother's Day
$70 - $3,500

Holiday, anniversary, birthday gifts
$421 - $21,050

Total Cost
$12,788 - $590,400

Is she worth every penny? And less than half of that, on behalf of women, is spent on men over the same 50 years.

That's why the marriage thing with me is (sigh)....i dunno. Marriage is unnatural, 1st of all but some people can hack it.

Sounds like another reason to ban gay marriage. We contribute less to the economy based on this.

Life is worthless because everything is qualified by how much it costs?

You pessimist, Bardock. I believe in blue skies and laughter.

I believe in blue skies and laughter as well....just that there isn't any reason for either. Cause everything is shit.
