...yeah, it's not like he's insanely more uber or something.

Besides, Pete outgrew half his rogues gallery years ago, even pre-upgrades. Green Goblin, for example, one of his most iconic villians, hasn't been an actual threat to Pete in a fight since the 70's. He's just a threat to Pete's loved ones and life.

So it's refreshing....he really hasn't had many of his "classic" rogues for a while, and it's high time he ditched a few of them.

Scorpion should be pwning Spidey anyway no expression

He's got most of spidey's powers, plus that tail

confused

You mean, minus webs and spider-sense, right? And now, persumably, a bit lower in strength. The SS is really a difference maker, because with it he's consistently faster than most of his rogues. Scorpion's a prime example of what I'm talking about. He hasn't taken Pete through his paces without a plot device since at least the mid 80's, maybe earlier.

Yeah stick out tongue

Still though, I would like to see Scorpion fighting him on a more even playing field

nah, it was implied that he was 30 something when what happened to MJ happened....

and that was 20 something years after, so if anything he was in his 60s...

how would JJJ been alive if Pete was in his 80s?

I got mixed up. I'm thinking of Peter as Jameson.

Jameson was in his 80's, at the very least.

Yeah, I'd put him somewhere around 55 to 60.

If we figure Jameson was 45 (at the youngest) when Peter started working for the Daily Bugle, and he's around 85 in Reign, then Pete would be around 55.
