Iron Man is like Bishop. He can focus his attention on an opening with his re-pulsar and make the shot in fast time so that even against someone like Gladiator in 4D Iron Man can apply the Avengers Assemble.
"But you can't process and respond to information at the speed of light, can you? Of course not. It doesn't matter how good your hardware is, your brain just doesn't work that fast"
a) feel free to explain how a feat explicitly requiring lightspeed will be performed by Sinister;
b) Boundless tells us that Iron Man's hardware is good, but his reflexes are sub C, and thus the strength of his hardware doesn't matter. This distinguishes the scan from the fight at hand: Iron Man's reflexes are better than Sinister's, and thus the strength of his hardware does matter. Unless Sinister has better TK offense feats than I've seen from him, I don't think he's picking apart Tony's armor like it's LEGO.
...
I won't continue this debate much further because I don't want to chase down scans and I don't have an Iron Man folder ready to go. That said, I think Sinister is benefiting from the forum's recency bias, and Tony is suffering, because we haven't had a serious IM fan on the forums in a while.
IM is also arguably a low herald. More importantly though, if we strip away Sinister's biggest offensive weapon (TP), his remaining attacks are limited to things that are all sub-herald, and all inferior to Tony's armor. If Sinister wins, it's through attrition.

Iron Man removed all boobie traps from his armor.
He should be capable of a bull run like Sinister.
When the two collide you would have a superconductor reaction and a partical would emit.
The one who is fast enough to grab the particle would be able to kill the other.

Still if Iron Man focus on controling a 360 radius Mr. Sinister would have to use t.k. faster than technology has developed so to put it bluntly...Iron Man really can do 1 trillion things per second/per 32 feet.
