If you were surrounded by a bunch of hostile neighbors that wanted to kill you and you had the means you would be agressive also. As for America's support of Israel...The corporate controlled US needs a foothold in the region with most of the worlds conventional oil.

I disagree with the assessment that O'Reilly pushes moderate Republicans to be more conservative. I've been thinking about it, and Glenn Beck is the sort of person who riles up normal folks into a lynch mob. Normally, they'd be sensible, intelligent folks, but under his leadership, they become raving morons.

Well Orthodox Jews hate Israel and think it's a sin against God, so he could be an Orthodox Jew. Orthodox Jews (or certain, may I add) believe Jews should live in Israel under the government of local people, ie Palestinians.
I have heard orthodox rabbis blaming Zionists for the holacaust too, stating that Hitler was all like: Jews! GTFO of Germany to Uganda or I kill you all'' and Zionist from England were all like: ''NO, Israel or nuffin', stay put and get killed''.
Also, they hate Israel cos its some kind of atheistic institution or something. I haven't been paying a lot of attention, so I could be missing vital bits to the story, but that's the gist.

Not so sure if Orthodox Jews hate Israel as a whole, seems to be more of the Leftist Jews from New York, you know, the Whinebergs and such with their sweater-vest and non-fat decaffeinated lattes.
not historically, and the democratically elected Hamas gvt has at least said they are willing to negotiate a 2 state solution. groups like Islamic jihad, sure, but they would never be the government of Palestine.
the extreme right, especially the settler movement, thinks the state is too secular.
I look forward to the day when electric cars are everywhere, and the west no longer needs a 'foothold' in the Arab region. Countries like Saudi Arabia go broke because oil is virtually gone/not needed, and Israel is finally forced into a two-state solution to survive without their big brother looking out for them.
