One fact that makes me giggle is that when old models are taken out of production in the west, all the designs and tooling are sold to the poorer countries of the world.

If you go to some parts of Eastern Europe and Asia, you'll see brand spanking new Austin Maestro's driving round! eek!

You don't really have a choice in the Southeast. The public transportation is very limited here.

pick ups are what you do in a bar. trucks you drive and they have an open storage compartment in the back... waste of space for the average commuter. but to look like a proper redneck you need a truck with an open compartment in the back and if you a high class redneck you have big tires and a racing sticker of you fav driver and a calvin pissing on some other car brand.

The Southeast is truck country. And Redneck country. I never heard so many racist comments in my life. And just out of the blue. You can't imagine the kinds of things I heard during the O.J. Simpson trial, especially having the name Nicole. And most of them I heard at work so I couldn't say what I really felt about some of those comments without getting fired.

sometimes they call them bucket truck
if you haul refrigerated stuff it's a reefer unit
there's also flatbeds, vans, containers, and covered wagons
and you either drive conventional or cab-overs
