I USED to base Wolverine off of that. Then I read classic xmen and Wolverine stories and realized that he was a good character before he was turned into crap.
Read the comic. It even says that Wolverine is relieing competely on animal instinct

They said they're going to explain how Wolverine survived lots of things.. Well, IMO it's rather obvious that he's using the same stuff Nitro's using to amplify his powers.. This would explain why he's fast enough to hit Namor etc.. But then, the writer seems to be pretty stupid.. IMO Wolverine could hold his own against Namor for a time, but beating him wouldn't be so simple.

I've recently noticed something about Wolverine fans on the forum. Every time someone starts a Wolverine vs thread, his fans always give 1 of 2 responses, the first response is of course that Wolverine wins. The second response is that it a spite thread. WTF is up with that. Why is there never any middle ground when it comes to Wolverine? Why can his fans never say that it would be a good fight, but his opponent takes the majority?

His skull can't protect his brain like that for two very simple reasons. The first reason is that the adamantium is metal, and metal can be heated. If he were that close, his skull would be so hot that the heat coming off of IT, would melt Wolverines brain. Now if you want to ignore that and say, "Well it's adamantium, maybe it doesn't heat up like other metals!", there's STILL one very big problem, THERE ARE HOLES IN HIS SKULL!The heat and explosive force should have traveled through his eye holes, and destroyed anything remotely resembling brain tissue. So there you go not one, but two reasons, that type of thing is BS by any, non fanboy standards.

first of all in x-men vs ff #2 wolverine puts thing down with a kick , so if you already bring x-men vs ff wolverine kicked thing and was on him, enemy of state is a crap? why? because it shows wolverine taking thing out? what maked you think that adamentium claws cant stub a rock? if he can cut sentinal and metal with it, yes adamentium may be heated but the brain will be damaged slow and guess what? he got a healing factor that can heal him, you know what i hate about wolverines haters? they always forget that he can heal, so if the skull is heated and the brain starts to melt slowly his healing factor will deal with it , namor owns wolverine? thats why theres a big ass comics that shows wolverine giving him a beating but hey you know better then the writers you write about marvel characters all the time
yes wolverine cant lift a car or a bus and your point is? it didnt stop him from beating namor.... or other powerhouses because he doesnt need to lift a bus its not a bodybilder contest all he needs is his deadly skills, his claws that can cut thrue harder matirial then thing and namor and his healing factor, he doesnt need to lift a bus he just need to cut the guts out of his oponnent thats it, so in your opinion who ever can lift more is the strongest? then how the hell captain america took out spider-man , or then again how the hell spider-man took out scorpion, damn by your logic rhino should kick spider-man and half of marvel
