The Destroyer would definitely survive since it's made of near indestructible enchanted metal and doesn't need food or water. I can't see Thor surviving, because as far as I know he doesn't have any way to shield himself from the heat. Maybe he would get by if he uses mjonlir to teleport out. Flying out isn't a option for him because he hasn't got the lung capacity of Gladiator. Hulk can hold his breath for about an hour if I remember correctly... I don't see what good that will do if the sun is burning his body away faster than he can regenerate though. The Abomination, Hercules, and Thing definitely won't live. I still say Thor wouldn't make it, but it is slightly possible he would survive.

I'm not sury Juggy would be able to walk out of it... Isnt the description of that power something like "once in motion he cannot be stopped"? or something to that effect? If thats the case he lives there until the end of time cuz he won't be ably to go anywhere. Maybe if he farts alot he can get some momentum going by the gas pushing him forward.... I dunno

Hulk can hold his breath for an indefinite length of time. He could survive the heat and gravity of being in the sun, but he would eventually subcumb to it.

Thor could protect himeslf with a magical field via Mjolnir.

Gladiator flies through the sun all the time.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure if Hulk even needs to breathe. The only purpose for respiration is cellular maintenance. Hulk regenerates his cells at an insane rate.

Is that some sort of Hulk upgrade now? Not needing to breathe? Since when? Last time I remember, Hulk could only hold his breath for a long time, and Abomination could hold his longer because of him having a more sea-like stature.

Hulk has had crazy upgrades. Marvel is trying to make him un-killable. His regeneration is insane. He regenerated from cells in The End. I hope they don't ruin the character.

Here's Hulk, fighting in the vaccum of space. It doesn't look like he needs to breathe.

That isnt just him holding his breath for a long time?

Same as when he fought Namor underwater. He just held his breath.

Actually, he was talking the entire time. It would make sense that he doesn't need to breathe, though. If his regeneration can reform him from cells, why couldn't it replace cells killed by oxygen deprivation? Oxygen deprived cells die slowly. He could replace them just as quickly as they die. We don't even know if Hulk's cells need oxygen.

In Defenders Vol.1 #54, Hulk says - "Fish-Men help friends that got hurt! Fish-Men can breathe in water--Not like Hulk and others from above!"

And Defenders Vol.2 #7, Hellcat says - "You do not have to hold your breath Hulk--Doc whomped up a breathing spell. See, we're just fine!"

You're right. That is an inconsistancy. However, Hulk is shown in comics that don't involve Strange, not breathing, while talking, in space. It's understandable that Hulk would be able to live without breathing.

Inconsistancy it is indeed.

In the scan I posted, Hulk suggests that he could drift forever in space, not die of suffocation. It is inconsistent to his appearances in the Defenders, but Hulk not needing to breathe is understandable. Everything the Hulk consists of is drawn from an extra-dimensional source, including his additional mass. The source of Hulk's power is infinite, so any damage done by oxygen deprivation would be easily repaired. It isn't that far fetched.

If Hulk was to die of suffocation, wouldnt his body drift in space forever?

No. He would revert to Bruce Banner, his body would decay, and become dust. That is, IF he can die of suffocation.

Who knows, but I think he can. Ive never heard of Hulk not needing to breathe. Underwater or space.

Only time ive heard of him being able to breathe in water, was when he was blue. But that didnt last to long.

It's a definite possibility, though. Oxygen is only needed for cellular maintainence. Hulk's regeneration does that for him. Cells that die due to a lack of oxygen could be immediately replaced by new, healthy cells.

After the blast is over he could potentially reform like Maestro did, however wasnt maestro only able to do that because it was a gamma bomb? Once these guys get there they aint coming back

glads can smile

THEY ALL DIE!!!

just how did they get to the center of the sun exactly? teleportation. because even being driven into the sun not even halfway would they make it to the center anyhow. do you guy have any IDEAL how big the sun is???? IT'S HUGE, you think hulk with his 3 mille jumping ability even has a chance NO. juggernaut magic or whateve wont survive .

btw just to get my point across here is the size comparison of the sun to earth. here

http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/a...rs/970518a.html
and here:
http://www.enchantedlearning.com/jg...terearthsun.GIF

that' right the sun is.. better yet a direct quote " The volume of the Sun is 1,299,400 times bigger than the volume of the Earth; about 1,300,000 Earths could fit inside the Sun ".

in conclusion if they were teleported there for a micro second they may survive but otherwise bye bye strong guys.

This is comics, land of impossibilities wink

Gladiator can. Thor has been in the heart of the sun before. Hulk expremly enraged? Not sure. Classic Jugs? Powered by cyttorax and being durable as he was maybe. Herc? - only- if hes immortal and fully powered...and even then im not sure if he would. He has taken blasts from cosmic beingsbefore so i have no ideia.

Being sure: Glads and Thor plus very probably Jugs.
