Here in the US, all the lefties hated the FBI and CIA because of the post 9-11 Islam hunts. Then Trump happens, and suddenly they're all pro FBI and CIA.
It's almost like the powers that be figured out how to switch off critical thinking. Just replace "It's to fight terrorists" with "Nazi's" and watch the people cheer as you strip them of their liberties.
Remember when the Rjght was prudes who launched a war on sex in media and advertising? No one went for it, but call it exploitation and everyone starts demanding less sex on tv. Better yet body positivity, no hourglass shapes anymore, all fatties.

Odd, as I don't remember hating the FBI and CIA after 9/11? I remember hating that Homeland Security was enacted by the Bush admin and it stripped us of our rights to the cheers of the Right.
But I don't recall blanket hatred of the FBI and CIA. Sure I'll call out specific shitty incidents that our law enforcement agencies do, like the Waco massacre, that was handled most poorly, children didn't have to die.
I do recall the Right magically turning on the FBI et al whenever Trump ordered them to, whenever some agency didn't bend to his will. The attacks on Capitol Police during the insurrection and attempted coup. We saw it over and over here with the KMC Trumper squad.
