No prep gimps Doom more then no speedblitz gimps Superman, considering Supes should be quicker on the draw with his HV/Super Breath then Doom with his spells..

Doom is always upgrading his armor. he doesn't have special armor for each occasion. the armor he has now stood up to 3 versions of the hulk along with hulks son and his sword and doom just laughed at him. Doom's armor can protect him from Superman long enough for doom to come up with something. but most likely doom has embedded his armor with Kryptonite since his last fight with Supes. the same way he has pieces of the original Cross in his armor just incase Dracula shows up. its not a "what armor should I use now deal".
