This is because you'll find a way to excuse nigh any of Trump's poor behavior, you've shown this time and again; you have zero standards for the office of the POTUS because it's Trump and he's your special guy.
I suspect once he's gone you'll also go back to how it was before, where if a President got into a public middle school insult fight with a private citizen, you'd condemn the poor behavior, especially when it will be a Democrat next.
How’d he go after her? A few tweets wow, he’s terrible.
She’s an idiot getting played by her lawyer, I wonder how much he’s made on her stupidity, I mean he convinced her she could sue trump for defamation and the 600 grand she raised in go fund me may very well go to trump to pay legal fees lol.
Can’t believe people were stupid enough to give her that much
Obama saluted while holding a cup in his hand and you people lost your shit because "That was so un-presidential! The office needs to show the highest level of decorum at all times!"
Now our president is using the office to get into petty insult matches with a porn star he paid to sleep with and then paid to cover it up. Very presidential. Just stop your nonsense, TI.
She brought it on herself by going after Trump first. People who voted for him, like me, are not unhappy over the fact he's a fighter. I especially am not going to hold it against him for going after someone who blackmailed him and then wrote a book insulting him.
As for your claim of me condemning a democrat behaving poorly...it depends on the context. For instance, if a democrat went after someone who had blackmailed them and wrote a book insulting them I wouldn't really hold it against them.

What stormy Daniels did wasn't calling Trump some orange man or some shit.
If a woman was president who once slept with Trump and Trump wasn't president, and Trump started trying to make money off her and talking about how "she's got beef flaps like you wouldn't believe, the most oddly shaped vagina ever, clit strung out like a noodle" or some shit and the media started ranting about it for several days, no I wouldn't be outraged at all if this hypothetical female president called hypothetical noncandidate Trump an orange freak or some shit.

That being said as far as Trump's rhetoric goes he is not the ideal candidate.
The way it seems from my vantage point is that people like me are on the other end of a culture war in some sense from some of our cultural establishments such as the mainstream media, political correctness, weaponized identity politics, the identity politics narrative in the education system, talking about abolishing affirmative action or not having open borders gets you called a racist, people like Jordan Peterson or Sargon etc. get routinely slandered by the media etc.
If I could narrow the type of leader the nation could have in this instance to four archetypes so to speak, they would be the conspirator, the cuck, the savage and the lobster.
The conspirator would basically be a president who is completely allied with these sorts of cultural forces that I'm not a fan of at all, and would serve to consolidate their power in not only the cultural but political institutions as well, and this is completely unacceptable to me.
The cuck would basically be a president who is not allied with these cultural forces, but would just kinda submit to them and let them run roughshod. Someone without a backbone to stand up against the media or political correctness and just kinda submit to them. Not as bad as the conspirator but still someone without the strength that I think is needed here.
The savage is basically Donald Trump. Someone who has the kind of strength to stand up to this shit, but lacking in self-control and restraint. Obviously this is not ideal, such a person clearly incites further polarization within our nation to unhealthy levels in a way that's going to be difficult to heal from. That being said I can still appreciate this archetypal president over the first two because at least he is doing something to undercut this pernicious cultural force. His very existence leads the media, leads left-wing identitarians, antifa, professors, the democrats, etc. to act out in such a way that makes this cultural problem more apparent to the public and rightly erodes the trust they had in these institutions that honestly don't deserve that trust. And it awakens people to the obvious race baiting that's being used to smear one side of the issue on immigration and a host of other political discourses.
The lobster would be a hypothetical president with a temperament somewhat like Jordan Peterson's, dignified, restrained, civil, but with a definite backbone and willing to call out this obvious horseshit. Someone who will not deliberately stoke the outrage of half the country and incite this bitter resentful polarization, but still someone who will take a hard stand against the obvious bullshit of this cultural movement and dismantle it. Someone who has a sword so to speak, knows how to use it, knows when to use it, and knows when not to use it. This would be my ideal type of president in our current situation, and if such a person tries to primary Trump in 2020 they will get my vote, no matter how futile that may be, because that's the only type of person I think can appropriately address the issue at hand.
In absence of the lobster though, I will take the savage with his glaring flaws who stands up against the things I am against over someone who submits to those things, or a democrat actively working to advance a cultural and economic agenda with which I fundamentally disagree. Someone needs to tell these people no, and if there is not a lobster to stand in the arena I will begrudgingly take the savage.
It's not a dilemma I am happy to be faced with.
