An ad hominem attack is a special case of a non-sequitur; you're using character attacks to justify a position that has nothing to do with said character. In this case however, my conclusion, that you've been begging, harassing, and maliciously insulting people for 1 v 1's and haven't gotten any because everyone thinks you're a joke, is itself a character judgment, so my warrants aren't off topic at all.
I can pretty much guarantee your reply will have nothing to do with what I just explained to you, of course, because you're incredibly slow - maybe the slowest regular poster on KMC.

I've come back for little less than a month now and have already gotten several offers to do 1 v 1's. Meanwhile, in the course of over a year you've asked, begged, and then resorted to harassing at least a dozen different members to debate you, and strangely all of them have refused. I wonder why that is?

Let's clear something up first and foremost. I don't harass anyone for a one on one debate. I'll ask but if you agree to later back out that's when I'll harass you. Don't accept if you have no interest. It reflects poorly on you and shows your word doesn't hold any weight. I've insulted Ils and yourself because both agreed to a certain debate. Then when it comes time to pony up, "you are the worst. No one thinks you're intelligent, etc.". That's an insult that you don't have the balls to back up. If I'm the worst then outdebate me and make me look like a fool. You won't do that so your words ring hollow. You'd rather hide behind the cop out that I am the worst without proving how bad I am.
I have had plenty of one on one debates but no one is really interested here for a Trek Kelvin vs. Ot Wars debate. I hear to often on this forums about posters retiring or lacking the passion to continue to do the legwork for supporting their positions on here. How many one on one debates are opened to not be finished. Quite a few on the Star Wars section so many in fact it's become a running joke.
That's fine but I see most of the debates don't happen and I'm not involved so the real reason is apathy which has nothing to do with me.
Another personal insult but I've seen you do the same thing with Neph. Try to engage in a debate then when you're frustrated say he's the worst and people mock him all the time. Who cares ? I don't care if you think I have AIDS. It doesn't bother me in the slightest because I'll still do the same shit I've always done without a care in the world.

It's really simple. Ellimist talks a good game but when push comes to shove he doesn't ever debate one on one and makes excuses as to why that is. His word is about as reliable as Trump's.
If that's true it's like the saddest thing I've heard all day lmao.
But let's go over a few details:
1. I gave you, out of pity, the opportunity to 1 v 1 me on the simple request that you apologize privately for posting malicious flames against me on a dozen different threads. Your undeserved pride prevented you from taking that offer, and now you're still here desperately hoping someone will debate you.
2. I have every right to "back out of" a debate that hadn't even started yet months in advance, because a) I felt like it and b) there's this thing called "real life" that kind of takes precedence.
2a. Likewise, me choosing to not engage in a debate with you does not justify maliciously flaming me across several forums for months afterwards.
2b. Likewise, that you'd actually pursue someone across several threads because they didn't do a debate with you is incredibly cringey and socially bizarre, so I really hope your claim that you behave this way in real life is just posturing.
3. I've engaged in several debates with other members including Azronger and DarthSkywalker0 (though the latter he may not continue), because they are competent people who do not insult the collective intelligence of these forums every time they try to formulate a sentence. I can assure you the reason I'm setting up other 1 v 1's is not because I'm somehow afraid of you and not debaters like ILS or Nova.
4. There's a reason why you've spent a year and a half looking for people to debate you and nobody's accepted, and it's not because people are afraid of you. We all recognize you as perhaps the worst debater we've ever seen, and a gigantic *sshole to boot.
4a. It's not because people just don't want to debate either, because in the meanwhile several other debates have happened between more respected members. It's just you.
5. As an example of your ineptitude, you engaged in a serious debate with SW_LegendofPT (name paraphrased), because you couldn't figure out it was a literal satire account. Yet despite being a satirical account with deliberately bad arguments, it absolutely crushed you, which was pretty hilarious tbh.
6. You have a tendency to speculatively flame others over their personal lives. Tell me, who the f*ck are you exactly? What do you do for a living? How much money do you make? What have you accomplished? You're welcome to anonymize your information as much as you desire, but rest assured it's very possible that [SPOILER - highlight to read]: I, in my very early 20's, make a higher wage at a summer internship than you do full-time near the age of 40.
7. You suck.

No, it's fine. This isn't an end of the world type thing and life will go on. You shouldn't need an apology when I said I'd stop the badgering. You gave your word and backed out. Choices have consequences. These are the consequences until you honor your word. You're not a child. Man up for once in your short life span.
Real life is one thing but just saying you're not debating and then creating threads begging others to debate you on topics makes you look bad. You're free to do whatever you want. I'm also free to react to your choices however I want.

Its more nuanced than you're trying to spin it. I've had posters accept and then something comes up. Tondemonai for instance. He's quite busy and still acts like he will but very busy in school and not a lot of time to commit. The other reason is lack of interest. I don't think most star wars debaters feel this is a topic that interests them. Most Star Wars debaters feel the Ot smashes the Kelvin trilogy and don't care to entertain the debate. Some here haven't seen the trek films and then there are the Ils's and Ellimist's who believe they can give their word and just back out.
Well I saw you start a thread against Darth Skywalker and he didn't care to respond. Maybe it's you too. I mean your agreed to one with Ant and he's accused you of cucking another posters arguments. Ironic all this bad stuff keeps happening to you who is held in high esteem on the kmc hierarchy.

I have heard this before and something usually comes up. I won't hold my breath but the debate I clearly want is this one. I'd rep the trilogy of the new Star Trek films. They call it the Kelvin timeline. I'd rep them in an intergalactic war against your Ot trilogy. If you're interested in this matchup let me know but if this never comes to pass I'm also fine with it.
