I've still got my Grandma's decorations in boxes somewhere, and she got them from her grandmother. But I'm not a big decorator type, didn't do Halloween or Thanksgiving, not gonna put up a tree not even a fake one, all that fooferall is merchandising nonsense.

Bullshit, tis the season to either

A. spend so damn much money you end up broke for 3 months straight getting shit people don't even want and will trade for something else or re-gift it. or

B. Eat drink and lose your waistline for 3 months trying to work off all that damn pie and turkey & stuffing and whatever, and have to spend the day with people you hardly know anymore and can barely stand, extended family is shite.

Do what I do treat it as just another day because you already like gifting little things to your family every so often throughout the year.
