I liked the 1st book, because it's such an entrancing introduction to harry potter. And The 3rd book, as well-- so surprising and unsuspecting happy

#1 - POA definitely! i love lupin! he's such a great character!
#2 - GOF! the twists and turns of the story was sooo good!
#3 - OOTP. the character developments were awesome but it was just a little too dark for me.
#4 - PS/SS. i like the intro of the whole saga
#5 - COS. i'm just not into this book. it was a bit too predictable for me.

Probably the Chamber of Secrets was my favorite. But I have a new question...in all of the books, which is your favorite chapter? Mine is the first one in Goblet of Fire when Rowling talks about Tom Riddle's history. He is such an interesting person.

I liked books :
Three - it was dark, thrilling. Sirius' and Lupin's background were presented. My fave chapters : The Marauders' map, Moony, Prongs, Padfoot and Wormtail, oh and the Bogart chapter etc
Four - Quite suspenful. Fave chapters: The Quidditch World Cup, The tri wizard until the end.
Five - still readin' smile

I like the 5th one best, because of the Marauders in the chapter Snapes worst memory! big grin
Then: PoA (because of Sirius sad ) GoF, SS/PS (the whole introduction thing ) Then Cos. Didn't really like it that much, it was a bit annoying 'cos of Lockheart and Dobby.
My fave chapter in the whole Siries: OotP: Snapes worst memory! I love the Marauders! big grin

I'd rate it an A... She made it really Harry's worst time in Hogwarts, which might be the good thing at that book... I mean if the world is an all good place in the books and there's no threatening or stuff, if everybody's friends to each other, why reading it then? There'd be no goal eh?

I agree. This was a very good book. I kno that is was very dissappointing to have Sirius die, but I think we all knew (I did at least) that Harry would not get out of this without losing somte of the people he loves most. It was good to show that Harry has a 'bad side'. He was in a temper and a self-pitiing stage for most of the book. It was good of JK to show that he was human and not always the hero. There will be more people that we love dying in the next two books. You shouldnt dislike a book simply because a character died, or there was an evil teacher. I personally think that the 5th book was one of the best. My 2nd favorite (my fav. bein the 3rrd.). I give it an A.

Gave it a B. It was a good book, but very dark...which was obviously intended. Sirius is my favorite character, so it killed me when he was knocked off. I could not stand Umbridge. I could not stand the lack of Quidditch. I hate "weasley is our king" song. I hate that Draco was a Prefect. I liked the thestrals. I liked the way JK displayed the growing of the characters as teenagers. I liked the way the Weasley's left, I wouldn't have it any other way, and what Fred told Peeves. I liked learning more about the Ministry of Magic.

All in all, I really enjoyed the book...but the fact my favorite character died really made me mad.

Did you want to say "it killed me when he was knocked off" or "it knocked me off when he was killed"? laughing out loud

and still, it's nearly as good as the PoA, thus I give it an A stick out tongue

The best, in this one harry is like a real boy, rather than a always happy character, its like pinnochio, but harrys nose doesnt grow when he lies, perhaps some curse could sort that out
