Sadow isn't beating either of them for a majority, he got beaten by some no name Jedi and these two are easily among the best Jedi in history per feats/accolades. They outclass him in just about everything related to combat, his best force feats are when he's using trinkets/amped not in combat

Sadow at full power only occurs when amplified by darkside artifacts or the meditation sphere, he's shown nothing in force feats to suggest he'd beat Ulic or Jaina in feats.

Barel Ovair isn't a no-name. He was powerful enough to Conceal his dark side affiliation from the entire Order and could stand in the Council Chamber undetected. He was also clearly better than Eison Gynt, who was the most skilled Jedi in generations or something. That said, he was getting beaten by the Massassi even with Gynt's aid, while Sadow would've busted an army of the intelligent ones, which busted an army of the brutes that were beating Ovair and Gynt. That, and Ovair was driven half-insane just by being in the Tomb of Naga Sadow for an extended period of time.
Also, the nature of Sadow's possession there seems murky. Gnost-Dural describes it as Eison Gynt with "borrowed powers", which is a pretty strange description if you're taking over somebody completely.

Concealing just your dark side signature and not your Force sensitivity altogether, from the entire Jedi Order, and maintaining that for a lifetime, is a much, much better showing.
Sadow talking down the intelligent Massassi that just plowed through his armies is clearly him being capable of stomping their army. Because, as we all know, political power = Force power.
