Ventress died that way, Marr died that way, Windu may or may not have died that way, Vader died that way, Nyriss died that way, Rayf died that way, that random Beast Rider that Bane ashed, several merceneries Bane ashed, Zabraks and Kiffar Dooku blasted, a Sith acolyte, God knows how many Stormtroopers, etc.

In the movie you can apparently hear him go: "Yaagh!" as he gets thrown out the window... implying the fall killed him, or he died on the way down from the lightning.
