I'm sorry, Esb, but 'honor' counts for nothing. One fights a battle to win, not to win honorably. Dooku didn't use the Force simply because Yoda could defend himself from all of Yoda's assaults. Sidious did the smart thing. Perhaps if Dooku did as well, he could've won or injured Dooku. But again, honor tends to cloud one's judgment and makes them do stupid stuff like that.

So, the Dooku vs Sidious thing can remain off here. Bring back the thread or go to to a thread designed for it. But the fact remains that Sidious injured Yoda whereas Dooku did not. And for those saying Dooku is owned, I never wanted to project that notion. Yoda would win after a prolonged duel. But there'd be no quick one.

Eh? I don't even think it's worth my time to correct you. You're pretty well clueless. You're probably the kind of guy who chortles with glee when a cat gets hit by a truck.
Dooku was forced to retreat both in AITC and in DR. Yoda was clearly his superior in Force powers (though not by much) and is even better with a saber (though only by a hair).

Eh, it sometimes doesn't work right. I know this for fact. Only reason I know this was done before is because I've been here since the start of the subforum.
In any case, this will not be conclusive, but result in Yoda camps and Dooku camps who will war ceaselessly.
Like me, I still hold that Dooku did fine with Yoda in AOTC and indeed fought better than anyone else in the series. He successfully winded Yoda and proved he can at the very least hang via the Force with him. Based on evidence I see I'd say it could very possibly go either way. TO rule out that Dooku doesn't have a significant chance is to me ridiculous.
However, if I take a single sentence from the script as being verified fact (Despite that it's not reflected in the movie) I'd have to say Yoda wins, which is pretty piss-poor to me.
It doesn't say who was greater. How hard is it to deflect a small piece of debris flying at you when Dooku wasn't putting in force into it after he chuncked it.

Everyone said Dooku fled from fear when in fact clone troopers were coming and he had the deathstar plans. And Dooku faced Obi and Ani because he knew it wouldn't take long to beat them.

This is ridiculous. "Battering at Dooku's defense" is clearly not the case. Watch the fight again. Dooku contends well with Yoda and even gets in quite a few hits of his own, despite the fact that Yoda has lots of room to work with.
I really really don't understand the point where Yoda jumped over him, bounced back, and then landed on the floor again. That was pointless.
