the Supreme Court is seriously considering whether a president has absolute immunity from checks and balances. regardless of the outcome, the open and brazen threat to our democracy is clear. We have precedent that our presidents are not kings, otherwise Nixon wouldn't have had to resign and then needed to receive a full pardon.
The Far-Right controlled SC is taking it up to further delay Trump's trials, which they effectively have. I think they'll vote that presidents do not have full immunity, but might concede some things to Trump.
Then again, they could prove Nixon correct when he said "if the president does it, then it's not a crime." Look at the six conservative judges we have. Shit to shittier.
It's obvious. The simple fact thet they're "cOnSiDeRiNg" Trump's immunity clame is proof that the fix is in. At the least, the trial will be delayed more after they conveniently sat on it for fvcking months.

That's the think though, the six Far-Right degenerate judges on the SC know that even if they rule presidents have absolute immunity for any acts deemed "presidential duty" from their POV, Biden won't do what Trump do, or similar.
