I read yesterday that the Catwoman comic was stopped in 2001. This annoys me because it wasn’t that Catwoman was a bad character, it’s that the gratuitous T+A was allowed to overshadow everything else. I mean, her costume looked like she had gone skinny-dipping in purple paint. I liked the psycho S+M-themed Catwoman in Batman Returns, but the rest of the movie was so bad it overshadowed the quality of this character. And need I point out the flaws in the movie from last year? So does anyone know what the writers have been doing with her lately or whether or not she’ll get another comic? All this seems like a waste of a good character that’s been around for 65 years.

i like catwoman, shes one of my favourite batman characters of all time... but imo she's just that... a batman character. i think she loses something without the constant sexual tension between her and bruce, i think its central to her character, that shes an enemy yet a prospective partner to bruce...
I would say that she dead.I mean she got thrown out of a window and got eaten by cats.She has to be a ghost of a woman or something in the movie.JM

When I said "dead" I was being metaphorical. I was asking whether her "proportions" have suffocated any intrigue of the character.

oh... then no... making her better looking isn't a crime... just the writers need to still write decent stories... still stick by my original post though...
