OK, now I'm trying to convince him that Dark Phoenix could beat Goku in a fight. I told him that DP held a universe in her hands, and this is what he replied:
Did she destroy it as a side-effect of her sheer rage? Oh, no? I didn't think so, didn't think so. Majin Buu tore through dimensions on accident because he was pissed, and Goku entirely annihilated one out of convenience. Don't give me this holding crap, it's unimpressive.
Goku didn't destroy a universe, he destroyed a dimension. Super Buu (Gohan Absorbed) was losing to SSj1 Vegito and then released enough power to destroy the universe. Vegito even had a tough time getting close to him through the release of such tremendous power. Keep in mind that level of power is weak by the end of GT. Goku could destroy the the universe in a flash if he so chose.

Screaming a hold in a dimension means jack all without any added feats.
The 'universe destruction' is anime only, its not canon to the manga.
GT Shenlong tried to destroy the universe and could only do so by /slowly/ spreading so crap out to eventually destroy it. Not really snap-fingers-universebusting is it?
GT is non-canon.
